Vicky’s place will be the venue of a show that collects iconographic cues and materials, which cover his overall creative process (photos, polaroids, negatives, prints) related to his life, work and passions. The house – the private space par excellence – perfectly embraces the idea of sharing and conviviality that is the core issue of Wonder Room, a project promoted by 2DM Agency to create an ideal platform of expression for artistic experimentations.

The pictures of different dimensions, which will to be framed in the main room, are all analogue and printed without any digital precessing. The images, displayed along with everyday life objects in the apartment/studio will be connected by a unique fil rouge: the analogue photography.

The exhibition will show the personal and deep research of Vicky’s daily life, presenting delicate images full of memory that represent a sort of journal, a “moodboard,” where people are spontaneous and things are shown in a poetic, instinctive and intimate dimension.

In the middle of a wooden table, made by the photographer, there will be boxes – parts of his archive – containing fifteen mini limited-edition silver prints in nine copies (6 x 7,5 cm), a gift by the artist for the visitors.

The ideal reflection of photography transposed into illustration is the theme of the installation created for Wonder Room.

The prototype is the shot; the definitive work is the illustration.

The process that describes this metamorphosis is represented through the stratification of two images, on two columns.
The two columns, as analysis of the photograpic work, stand in front of two illustrated artworks on the wall.

The exhibition aims to highlight reflection as a dialogue between images.
