Just finished to edit, after weeks in which we had a thousand work commitments, a short interview
filmed – without any artistic ambitions – by Vicky Trombetta to Alexander “Zuek” Simonetti, author of the
images shown during the sixth round of Wonder Room, curated by Heartfelt Studio. Enjoy it!
Each opening is an event not to be missed, as was the case this especially this time around, with an exposition of the talented, buzzworthy photographer Alessandro “Zuek” Simonetti. These images, captured by Paolo Simi, fortunately did not portray talented Milanese artists: they take themselves too seriously!
After months, the photography will be protagonist again.
The whole project is based on 36 b&w pics shot in two years work in New York by Alessandro Zuek Simonetti.
The series of images manually printed by Giancarlo Vaiarelli [italian master of fine art fiber based hand prints] are shot by the photographer with some point & shot cameras: they compose a indipendent pubblication curated by Heartfelt.
Silkscreen printed artwork by Legno.
As soon as we can, we will up load the full version of the video/istallation created by Luca Merli – Soda Studio – Painè Cuadrellil
which will show you the amazing work of these three italian caballeros!
Luca Merli will brought to you a video, that he makes exclusively for WONDER ROOM!
Sound designed by Painè Cuadrellli and curated by SodaStudio, this Wonder Room opening seems to be one to do not miss!!
WONDER ROOM – Via Tortona 31 Milano – this Sunday from 7pm untill 10pm!!
Following photography and sculpture, it’s now illustration’s turn. Presented here is a gallery of images from the most recent
Wonder-Room opening, which witnessed a challenge between the artwork of Marco Klefisch, a well known Italian illustrator
(represented by 2DM Management), and the newly formed StudioFantastico from Verona.
As usual, the vibe was cool and energetic, the conversation and creative juices flowing, and the night saw major participation
from the fresh young art scene of Milan. Distinguished designers, photographers, journalists and fashionistas were all in attendance on this beautiful summer evening to enjoy the 5th W-R opening. Thanks again to our good friend in the green bottle, Heineken.
The ideal reflection of photography transposed into illustration is the theme of the installation created for Wonder Room.
The prototype is the shot; the definitive work is the illustration.
The process that describes this metamorphosis is represented through the stratification of two images, on two columns.
The two columns, as analysis of the photograpic work, stand in front of two illustrated artworks on the wall.
The exhibition aims to highlight reflection as a dialogue between images.
Do Not miss the opening tonight at 7pm Via Tortona 31 – although, as usual, rain as will surround WONDER ROOM!
We are ready to show you the video represents the’ essence of shamans during the opening night.
That evening, in fact, they have brought powerful vibrations in Via Tortona. enjoy it!!
to an installation that explores archaic forms which live and interact with more rarefied forms of expression, typical of the’ digital age.
From this comparison / clash comes a great emphasis installation capable of involving the audience
picked up in – WONDER ROOM – transmitting ancestral forces, typical of shamanism. Enjoy it!
